St Malachy's BNS had a tremendous victory over St Oliver Plunkett NS in the Corn Mhic Ardail final in Darver last Thursday with Gaels representatives playing a starring role. Congratulations to all involved.
Victorious St Malachy's teacher and coach Shane O'Connell "This win bridged a 10 year gap for the school and we are delighted to bring the cup back to Dundalk. The last player to captain the school to this trophy was no other than your very own Dylan McKeown".
"A huge thank you to the club for providing the new set of jerseys that can be seen in the photo. In particular, thanks to Ciarán Culligan and Niall Lambert for the continued support in coaching in St Malachy's BNS, this is invaluable to us. Finally, on behalf of St Malachy's BNS, we would like to thank you for all the continued great work going on in the club to bring these boys through your system. It is certainly bearing fruit in the school competitions" O'Connell contiuned.
